fa الگوی توزیع چربی بدن (نسبت دور کمر به دور باسن) و ارتباط آن با نمایه‌ی توده‌ی بدن در دختران دبیرستانی شهر لاهیجان غدد درون‌ریز Endocrinology پژوهشی Original مقدمه: چاقی مهم‌ترین مشکل تغذیه‌ای ـ بهداشتی نوجوانان در کشورهای توسعه یافته است. در کشورهای درحال توسعه نیز به دلیل توسعه‌ی شهرنشینی، تغییر در شیوه زندگی و مدرنیزه شدن، روند رو به افزایش آن زنگ خطر مشکلات بهداشتی عنوان می‌شود. چاقی دوره‌ی نوجوانی خطر ابتلا به بیماری‌های مزمن را در بزرگسالی افزایش داده و سبب مرگ و میر زودرس از این بیماری‌ها می‌شود. لذا، مطالعه‌ی حاضر با هدف تعیین الگوی توزیع چربی بدن و ارتباط آن با نمایه‌ی توده‌ی بدن در گروهی از دختران دانش آموز 17-14 ساله‌ی شهر لاهیجان در سال 80-1379 انجام شد. مواد و روش‌ها: در این بررسی مقطعی- تحلیلی، 400 دختر دبیرستانی با روش نمونه‌گیری طبقه‌ای و به طور تصادفی انتخاب شدند. اندازه‌گیری‌های تن‌سنجی (وزن، قد، دور کمر و دور باسن) انجام و نمایه‌ی توده‌ی بدن و دور کمر به دور باسن محاسبه شد. برای تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌‌‌‌ها از نرم‌افزار آماری SPSS و آزمون‌های همبستگی پیرسون و آنالیز واریانس یکطرفه استفاده شد. یافته‌ها: 8/14% دختران دارای اضافه وزن و 3/5% آنان چاق بودند. بر اساس شاخص دور کمر به دور باسن، 5/21% کل نمونه‌های مورد بررسی و 7/66% دختران چاق، چاقی شکمی داشتند. همبستگی مثبت و معنی‌داری بین نمایه‌ی توده‌ی بدن و دور کمر به دور باسن مشاهده شد (0001/0p<، 35/0 =r). نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج بررسی حاضر نشان می‌دهد که در دختران نوجوان چاق، چربی بیشتر در نواحی مرکزی بدن ذخیره می‌شود. از آنجا که چاقی شکمی عامل خطر انواع بیماری‌ها از جمله بیماری‌های قلبی ـ عروقی، فشار خون بالا، دیابت نوع دو و مرگ و میر زودرس می‌باشد، لزوم پایش و ارایه خدمات تغذیه‌ای و ورزشی برای این گروه سنی به صورت فردی و گروهی توصیه می‌گردد. Introduction: Obesity is one of the most important public health problems of adolescents in developed countries. Recently, the prevalence of obesity has increased dramatically among adolescents of developing countries as a result of changes in life style and rapid growth of urbanization of societies. Considering that adolescent obesity is related to an increased adult morbidity and mortality, the present study was carried out in high school girls aged 14-17 years living in Lahijan in 2000-2001 to determine the pattern of fat distribution and its relationship with Body Mass Index (BMI). Materials and Methods: In this descriptive-analytical study, 400 students were selected by random stratified sampling. Weight, height, waist and hip circumferences were measured and BMI and WHR were calculated. Data were analyzed using the SPSS program and Pearson correlation and ANOVA tests. Results: The prevalences of obesity and overweight were 5.3% and 14.8%, respectively. On the basis of WHR, 21.5% of subjects and 66.7% of obese girls had a central pattern of fat distribution. A significant positive correlation was found between BMI and WHR (r=0.35, P<0.0001). Conclusion: Results showed that in obese adolescent girls, fat deposition occurs in the body’s centeral regions. Since central obesity has been associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, hypertension and type 2 diabetes mellitus, implementation and monitoring of individual and groups nutritional and physical activity programs is recommended for this age group.
